Manic Street Preachers line up new album, concert and magazine

Rock legends Manic Street Preachers have revealed a very special edition of Q’s 25th Anniversary issue featuring an exclusive vinyl edition featuring twelve tracks taken from the forthcoming album National Treasures - The Complete Singles, released October 31.

The vinyl/magazine package is a strictly limited edition and will only be available from from 27th September and in selected WHS High Street Stores for £12.99 from the 13th October.

“I can think of no better way to mark Q’s 25th anniversary than by producing this special issue in tandem with the Manics. They’re one of the bands intrinsically woven into the fabric of Q’s history,” said Paul Rees, Q Editor In Chief.

National Treasures - The Complete Singles will be released on 31st October. One of the formats will be a treasure of its own in the form of a boxset. The Boxset will consist of: 38 re-mastered vinyl finish CD singles (including B-sides from CD1’s), a poster, a DVD of all 38 videos plus bonus video content, 7” vinyl of New Art Riot, Suicide Alley, Jackie Collins Existential Question, a lipstick and vanity mirror and a limited number will also contain a 7” of Motown Junk.

The boxset is only available from the Manics website store.

The album is also being released via iTunes and iTunes LP, as a double CD, a 2 x CD + DVD set.

Tickets are on sale for a once in a lifetime Christmas party at the O2 in London on 17th December. The band promise “Glitter, glamour, special guests and a ticker-tape celebration. A never to be repeated one-off visual experience encompassing 21 years of MSP with 38 songs – from 1990’s Motown Junk to (but not in order!) 2011’s The Is The Day. There will be an interval in order to top up on refreshments and like all the best parties, you’ll talk about it for years to come and your friends will wish they’d been there.”
