Many companies inform you of what they DO include but fail to inform you what they don’t include and what they charge extra for. Here at Spencers we are very upfront about our charges and what’s included.

For example, Spencers do not charge landlords or tenants for tenancy renewals, we feel this is all part of managing a property.

When organising maintenance what we quote is what the contractor charges, there is no added commission on top of any works arranged. We have an amazing Landlord Online Portal for Fully Managed Landlords to use where you can access your statements at any point and download or print copies, as well as getting other tenancy information, therefore no charges for copies of your landlord statements or statements for tax purposes. The deposit is registered with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) at no extra charge.

I would check with any agent that you are considering that they do not have hidden fees for additional services as these can add up very quickly and in the long run become uncostly effective.
