A Mexborough pub in an “excellent trading position” has gone up for sale as the landlord retires after ten years.

Rustic Lounge on Bank Street, Mexborough, has gone on the market for £174,950 and is set over two floors with a lounge and bar, restaurant and patio and courtyard.

There is also a refrigerated beer room, kitchens and toilets.

A spokesman for Ernest Wilsons & Co Limited, who is marketing the business, said: “An opportunity to acquire this bar and restaurant premises situated in an excellent trading position in the town of Mexborough. This is a substantial, detached freehold premises and has been leased out for the last ten years.
