Karen Staniforth, General Manager at Frenchgate Shopping Centre commented: “We are delighted to be giving two of the herd of Sheffield elephants a temporary home within the Centre to celebrate the opening of Elephant & Castle. They look fantastic and I know they will be a real talking point with our customers.

“This is the start of a developing partnership between Elephant & Castle and The Children’s Hospital, which is great. The restaurant is already starting to make an impact on the local community, and that is fantastic to see.

“We would like to thank Jackie Neal of Abbey Forged Products for the loan of the elephants.”
