Axholme Camera Club welcomes all visitors and potential new members whatever their photographic capabilities.

Group member Geoff Trinder is the contributor of this week’s stunning images and said the club had been in existence for more than 30 years during which time member numbers had fluctuated, but for the last 10 plus years it had flourished with membership ranging from between 50 and 60.

He said the club provided a varied programme throughout the year and met once a week with a short break during the summer.

He said: “Visiting speakers give a range of talks on all aspects of photography including landscape, portrait, nature and creative. The club also runs a series of workshops on topics such as macro photography, photo stacking, paper and printing, practical stuff and natural history with some live creatures to photograph.

“With digital photography it is important to know how to use the various programmes for processing your photographs on the computer so there are evenings dealing with Photoshop and Lightroom.

“Every month there is a Competition with titles such as portraits, motion, landscapes and digital street photography..”
