Doncaster residents are being invited to get creative this half term as a special arts event at Rossington Miners Welfare.
The free family event, will take place from 1.30pm to 3.30pm today (Tuesday February 9) when professional artist Nichola Pemberton will run a drawing session with a difference.
Katherine Warman, arts supporter for Right Up Our Street in Rossington, said: “This will be a fantastic FREE half term event for adults and children.
“This Right Up Our Street event is a great way for families to get creative together or for adults from the community to attend and learn new skills.”
Right Up Our Street have been working with communities within the Doncaster borough for the past three years creating and developing creative arts projects for the community, with the community.
“We are also on the lookout for more people to join our Parade Committee. Last year we held the first Right Up Our Street Handmade Parade in Rossington, we’ve now brought together a group of people committed to creating another parade in Rossington.
“If you would like to be involved, or have some great ideas then get in touch,” added Katherine.
