2. THIN LIZZY
ROCK legends Thin Lizzy wowed fans and critics alike on a sold-out UK tour in January and February last year and with a show-stealing performance recently at Download Festival.
Now the fiery Dublin band and their new line-up - led by alumni Scott Gorham, Brian Downey and Darren Wharton, Damon Johnson (guitar), bassist Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Ted Nugent) and The Almighty’s Ricky Warwick on vocals and guitar - will take Lizzy’s music to a whole new generation of music fans.
Thin Lizzy will play their classic tracks including Jailbreak, The Boys Are Back In Town, Still In Love With You, Cold Sweat, Emerald and Don’t Believe A Word.
Plus special guests Clutch and Triggerfinger. There is an age restriction of 14+

3. BITTERNS’ GOT TALENT
HOW much do you know about bitterns?
See how talented you are at both spotting them and taking part in a bittern art and craft competition at Potteric Carr Nature reserve.
Binoculars will be provided at the family event which takes place between 10am and noon.
Also, from 10am to 3pm, there will be a bittern census - drop in during the day and take part in the annual bittern census. Find out how many bitterns overwintering at Potteric Carr.
Normal admission charges apply for the census and £2 per child for the BGT event.

4. SCHUBERT OCTET
JOIN the audience at the beautiful St Nicholas Church in Thorne for an intimate chamber programme performed by Manchester Camerata’s principal players.
Featuring Schubert’s wonderfully lyrical and much loved Octet, the charming bassoon quarter by the German composer Danzi and a transcription of Strauss’ riotous and witty Till Eulenspiegel, condensed down from its original massive orchestration into a score for five players.
There will also be a new work by Camerata’s Composer in Residence, Brahim Kerkour.
