Almost 1,000 bags of donated clothes, toys and books will be sold off to raise cash for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in Rotherham.
The 971 bags – up 80 on the previous year – were donated by shoppers and workers at Lakeside Village, Doncaster.
The project is set to raise £14,000.
Cheryl Sadler, centre manager at Lakeside Village, said: “Yet again our shoppers and staff have shown their generosity by donating to this well- deserving cause. This is a fantastic amount of money to have raised for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and we urge visitors to Lakeside to help us raise even more. Please don’t throw away unwanted items.”
