Lakeside Village is taking a step back in time this Bank Holiday Monday (May 25), to the Jurassic era.
Rex the 9ft lifelike T-Rex will be roaming the village to mark the spring bank holiday, emerging from his hiding place every half an hour, from 11am to 4pm.
Budding archeologists can also try their hand at digging for fossils and making prints to take away, as well as getting fossil tattoos, face painting and balloon modelling.
The event is the start of Lakeside Village’s half term activities ending with a ‘hot deals’ weekend, which will see stores across the outlet put on additional offers for shoppers across both Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May.
Cheryl Sadler, centre manager of Lakeside Village, said: “We’re really excited about this spring bank holiday, we’ve got something for everyone.
“From our hot deals for the grown-ups, through to our prehistoric-themed activities for the younger visitors on bank holiday Monday, there’s going to be a great atmosphere here at the Village and lots to keep our shoppers entertained while they enjoy the deals on offer.”
In keeping with the hot deals on offer at Lakeside Village, a fire-eater will be performing at the village at 11am to 4pm on Saturday 30 May.
