Chris Teal hasn't been able to meet her mum Peggy inside since March – so along with her son Dan and dad Brian, 87, the trio visited Richmond Care Home in Sprotbrough to perform Christmas carols outside the window.

Peggy, 79, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, was one of many residents at the home in Allendale Road treated to a few Christmas classics.

Said Chris: “We haven't been able to visit inside since March so my son Dan and my dad Brian decided to dress up and play christmas carols outside.

Peggy and other residents were treated to Christmas carols from outside the care home.

“My son Daniel, 24, a teacher, plays the saxophone, so from his car Bluetooth he played to all the residents through an open window. It brought tears to my dads eyes seeing mum singing and other residents were dancing.

“A big thankyou for Lucy Stillings who organised it in the home.”
