Mike McDonald, who lives in Dundee, is hoping to be reunited with a 1978 Mini Pickup that he sold in 1995 to a man from Doncaster

Mike hopes to find the vehicle’s current owner and buy it back if agreeable.

He told the Free Press: "The car has been on a SORN since 2014 so it is alive out there somewhere - and possibly rusting away on a driveway or garage.

"My heart sank as I knew there was a good chance it wouldn't survive long. I was surprised to find it is still around and would love to find it again.”

He continued: “It may have been sold on and be elsewhere in the country but I thought you guys would potentially be a good source to start the detective work. I did put a post up on the mini pickup international Facebook page but have had no success there.”

The car's registration number is TSN 371S. It was British racing green but it is now blue according to the DVLA.

If you know the whereabouts of the Mini Pickup, or, are in fact, the owner, then please get in touch.
