Axholme Academy news team gains valuable experience
Newshounds from Axholme Academy in Crowle gained valuable experience when the University of Lincoln media department visited.
The Ax News team (pictured) explored all aspects of the media industry during the day including page design for its spring edition of the school newspaper. Project manager and coordinator for the visit, Andrea Cox, said: “This is the sixth year we have worked with the university. This type of training is useful for the students in terms of English usage and instilling confidence.”
She added: “This may help them in their future careers and also when they visit the university media department during the summer.”
