The stage is set for triple Brit-Award winning band Kaiser Chiefs to take Doncaster by storm this evening.

Chiefs, who are best known for their chart-topping hits I Predict a Riot, and Ruby, will perform an after-racing set to include some new material along with all the favourites.

A police spokesman said that both they and Doncaster Racecourse management are happy with arrangements for the 9pm concert, that is predicted to be a sell-out success rather than a riot on this occasion.

Leeds-based Chiefs include lead vocalist Ricky Wilson, guitarist Andrew White, bassist Simon Rix, Keyboardist Nick Baines and drummer Vijay Mistry.

Summer concerts held last year at Doncaster Racecourse attracted around 40,000 people to the venue.
