There are currently 2,955 confirmed cases in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster, based on figures released yesterday.

The county’s death toll stands at 334.

Sheffield has 1,684 cases and there have been 154 deaths so far.

Doncaster has 280 cases and 63 deaths have been recorded.

In Rotherham, there are 515 confirmed cases and a total of 64 deaths have been recorded.

And in Barnsley 476 cases of coronavirus have been logged and 53 hospital patients have died.

There are 946 confirmed cases in Derbyshire and 888 in Nottinghamshire.

The UK remains on lockdown in a bid to halt the spread of the virus.

People can only leave home for shopping, exercise once a day, medical supplies or appointments and essential travel to work.
