The device assists women who have difficulty with bladder control due to conditions such as multiple sclerosis or spinal injuries by helping to empty their bladder when they go to the toilet.

The user-friendly product is small enough to fit into a pocket or handbag and has been receiving positive feedback from patients.

Sarah Mannion, product manager for the range at the firm, said: “From the feedback we’ve received from customers we know this a highly effective product that is well designed and also very discreet.

“The product is much smaller than a traditional catheter and fits in a handbag or pocket, so it’s easy to carry around.
