Doncaster now has 44 coronavirus cases in town
Public Health England data, released yesterday, reveals that out of all the ‘upper tier local authorities and NHS regions’ Doncaster is ranked towards the lower end of the list.
Sheffield has the third highest number of patients who have tested positive, with 387 cases recorded – behind only Hampshire, which had 432 and Birmingham, which has 513.

Hide AdAcross the UK, 19,522 cases have been confirmed and there have been 1,228 deaths, including two in Doncaster
Yesterday, the number of confirmed cases in the UK went up by 2,433 and there were 209 more deaths than the previous day.
Elsewhere in Yorkshire, there are 70 confirmed cases in Barnsley, 60 in Rotherham, 113 cases in Leeds and another 21 in York.
Updated figures are due to be released this afternoon.
