Clemence Rogers Home Care, owned by Wendy Rogers, helps council-run and private communities, across the borough and has recently received a CQC rating of ‘Good’ across all platforms, highlighting the service levels that patients and their families enjoy.

Wendy explained: “Having worked as a pharmacist for 27 years I was used to supporting members of the community with their medical needs, supporting them with their prescriptions and very often worrying about them when I knew they had no support at home and may not take their drugs as prescribed or intended.

“I knew that we could support our local communities so much better with the launch of an additional Home Care service and since the inception of the business we have grown to support patients and communities across the borough where the demand has been.”

With plans to develop the business to have 25 staff by the end of the year working in even more communities, the dema nd for NHS led and private home care is significant as families seek solutions to caring for loved ones.

“We are proud to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support people staying in their own homes as long as possible and help families to achieve this when time or location dictates that they cannot support their older relatives themselves,” said Wendy. “It is very important to us that we integrate with our patients and their families as seamlessly as possible and detailed care plans are created for each patient. This is not only for the medical care that they need, but also for their person centre care which tailors the plan to each individuals needs.”

Kerry Parnell, care manager, added: “We can help families alleviate any guilt or worry that is often experienced when they are unable to care for their relatives themselves due to working commitments or proximity to them. By delivering Person Centred Care we ensure the support network that is needed is available to suit each person’s needs and, through partnership working, our experienced team gives a positive experience at all times.”
