Ridgewood School has confirmed today that another Year 12 student has tested positive for coronavirus, following two others cases at the school in the last week.

In a letter to parents, interim headteacher Jean Pickerill said: “We have had confirmation today that a third student in Year 12 has tested positive for Covid-19.

“The student has not been in school since Monday, September 14. Following advice from Public Health England, because Year 12 is already self isolating, we do not need to take any further action.

“School will remain open for those students in Years 7,8, 9, 10, 11 and 13 who are in school this week and they should adhere to all the safeguarding measures in place.”
