More coronavirus deaths recorded in South Yorkshire including Doncaster

A further two people who tested positive for coronavirus have died in South Yorkshire, including one patient being treated by Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Trust.

NHS England confirmed a further 81 deaths related to Covid-19 have been recorded across England, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals to 30,743.

A patient being treated at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust was also among the latest fatalities. The families of all the deceased have been informed.

It comes after four more deaths were recorded by Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Trust on Wednesday amid a continued surge in cases. No fewer than 12 deaths were recorded at Yorkshire hospitals on 14 October.
