Locations of new positive coronavirus cases in Doncaster revealed

The areas of Doncaster where new positive cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the last seven days have been revealed

The latest available NHS data, which covers the period from 13 to 19 July, shows there were at least seven new cases in the town across this period.

Four cases were reported in Belle Vue and Town Fields area, while another three were confirmed in Bentley Rise. The data, which is displayed on an interactive online map, only shows areas with three or more confirmed cases – so the true number of confirmed cases could be higher.

Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus hospital deaths in Doncaster has risen to 231 after a further fatality was recorded by Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Trust. The death, which was confirmed on Thursday, was the first recorded in five days at the trust.
