Gala Tent has helped set up nearly 40 stations at the NEC in Birmingham as well as providing equipment for a hospital in Surrey.

The firm, which is based at Manvers at Wath, has been instrumental at helping to set up a Nightingale Hospital in the West Midlands as part of the Government’s strategy against fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

The National Exhibition Centre, normally used to staging conferences and shows, has been transformed into a huge field hospital to treat thousands of COVID-19 patients from across the country.

The firm has set up 36 testing stations at the NEC while the company has also equipped a large station for the NHS at Farnham Hospital in Surrey.

More than 11,000 people have died across the UK from coronavirus.
