The kindly youngster has been asking people if they need anything fetching from the shops – and following social distancing rules – after hearing about the COVID-19 pandemic from his mum Becky.

She said: “I told Zack on the way home from school the other day about needing to help our neighbours and seeing if they needed anything.

“The idea to check on neighbours was his own and I’m proud of him.

“At the same time we are getting to know more of our neighbours and cheering people up.”

Over 70s and vulnerable people with health conditions have been told to stay at home during the crisis – and Government ministers say gudiance on social distancing and self isolation could continue for many months.
