There have now been 20 coronavirus deaths in Doncaster as Prime Minister Boris Johnson spent a second night in intensive care in London.

The figure was up six on the previous 24 hour reporting period and includes fatalaties from the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Trust – which includes Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Mexborough’s Montagu Hospital and Bassetlaw Hospital in Worksop.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has spent a second night in intensive care in hospital in London.

Mr Johnson, 55, is being treated at St Thomas’ Hospital after his coronavirus symptoms.

He is breathing using standard oxygen and Downing Street said he was not using a ventilator.

Meanwhile, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, who is deputising for the PM, has suggested a review of lockdown rules due next week may not happen.

The virus has not yet hit its peak in the UK with hundreds more deaths expected over the coming days.
