Coronavirus: Ten cases now confirmed in Yorkshire

Ten cases of coronavirus have now been confirmed in Yorkshire, figures from Public Health England show.

Another case was confirmed in Leeds today, bringing the total there to three.

However, no cases have yet been confirmed in Sheffield, Rotherham or Doncaster.

In Barnsley, two cases have been confirmed and in Bradford, one.

Three cases have been confirmed in York, but there have been no other cases in the rest of North Yorkshire.

And one case has been confirmed in Hull, but none in the rest of the East Riding.

Across the UK, there have been 273 positive tests out of a total number of 23,513.

In the North East and Yorkshire combined there have been 18 positive tests, while there have been 23 in the East of England and 25 in the Midlands.

In the North West there have been 31 positive tests.
