Another Covid-19 patient dies in Doncaster as 115 new fatalities are recorded in England

Another Covid-19 hospital death has been recorded by the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Treaching Hospitals NHS Trust, the latest figures reveal.

According to NHS England, the death toll for the trust’s patients who tested positive for coronavirus now stands at 187, which is an increase of one since yesterday.

The figure does not include deaths in care homes or any other setting.

HEALTH: Number of coronavirus patients in Doncaster allowed home after treatment passes 300

A total of 274 deaths have been recorded in Sheffield, which is the same as it was on Tuesday.

There have been 170 deaths in Rotherham, which is an increase of four and 125 in Barnsley, which is the same as yesterday.

Lockdown measures have been eased this week with schools opening to more pupils and groups of six from different households allowed to mix outside.
