For their traditional festive party that students organise and run for more senior members of their community, there was party food, entertainment and merry making for a whole afternoon.

Everyone enjoyed the jollity, as pupils handed out food and drink, and chatted to their guests, ensuring that they received the best possible service during their visit.

School spokesman Scott Barlow said: “The Christmas party is always a great occasion and students work hard to make sure it all runs smoothly.”

Further seasonal activity at the academy included a Community Christmas Carol concert on the evening of December 17 at the Wesley Methodist Memorial Church on Epworth’s High Street.
