Employees will be able to earn £20 an hour over the course of a three-month contract for playing video games from their bed and reviewing their time doing so.

The bed company will be supplying the successful applicant with a video game console and a gaming bed and three games of their choice (age restrictions apply).

A spokesman said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for a UK gamer to get paid for doing what they love: gaming. This role will help Happy Beds to understand the needs of consumers and how effective our products can be for video gamers in terms of hitting their gaming goals, helping with comfort and storing everything that a gamer needs from consoles to controllers."

Successful applicants will need to play video games from the gaming bed for at least two hours a week and will be expected to have completed 24 hours over the contract.

In return, employees are expected to complete a review of the bed itself and supply a picture or video of the setup, as well as a product and gaming questionnaire to give Happy Beds an idea of the employee’s gaming habits.

To apply, those of interest are asked to visit the application page here and submit details such as name, address and phone number.
