This gem is hidden in the New Wool Market - they pride themselves on making Neapolitan pizza.

Chef Lee Oglen runs the stall and proofs their dough for between 48 and 72 hours.

They use San Marzano tomatoes which are grown on a volcano, Mount Vesuvius in Italy.

You must try their gelato if you take a visit - their flavours range from Cherry Bakewell to Nutella.

2. Ziniz

Run by Italian restaurateur and chef Alessandro, who aims to bring authentic tastes of Tuscany to Doncaster.

Their pizzas are thin, crispy and stone-baked with dough made fresh every morning with flour specially imported from Italy.

They use buffalo fior di latte mozzarella, Italian plum tomatoes and fresh herbs, which also all come directly from Italy.

3. Edwins of Hatfield

The newly launched Italian restaurant serves hand made and stone-baked pizzas.

A crowd-pleaser on their menu is the Garlic Bechamel Prosciutto Pizza, which switches out the traditional tomato marinara for a rich and creamy bechamel sauce.

Gluten-free bases are available.
