Prospective homebuyers will be able get a first look at new luxury homes in the borough early next month.

The Residence, Lakeside is a collection of 51 luxury two, three and four bedroom homes at the edge of more than 50 acres of lake.

The event, which will take place from 11am to 5pm on Saturday June 6, will offer buyers one of the first opportunities to tour two new show homes; a two bed, ‘Cobham’ home and a three bed ‘Lysander’.

The homes have been finished by interior design company, David Phillips Group, to showcase the modern, spacious interiors.

Visitors will also be able to speak to the sales team and view floor plans and the plots available, which include a number of three storey townhouses overlooking the lake.

Hollie Reynolds, residential sales and marketing manager at Muse Developments, said: “We’re aware of the needs of buyers in the area. We’ve tried to create the right mix of homes which will satisfy the demand we’re seeing from first-time buyers, families and downsizers.

“As well as restaurants and cafes right on its doorstep, this area offers Doncaster Dome, Lakeside Village and many more amenities, including primary and secondary schools, just a short walk, cycle or car ride away.”

The scheme, which is designed by Yorkshire-based architect Brewster Bye and being built by Lovell construction, has proved popular with potential buyers with more than 300 enquiries since work began on site September 2014.

The first homes will be ready to move into from June 2015, and a variety of homes will be available to buy off-plan.

Every home features a private garden, a modern, integrated kitchen and bathroom and private parking, and several come complete with garage.

The new homes have been designed with sustainability in mind; with well-insulated walls and a high efficiency heating system which will reduce energy consumption, allowing for easier maintenance and enabling residents to benefit from lower fuel bills.

Visitors to the launch event will also have the opportunity to talk to an Independent Mortgage Advisor about the range of buying schemes available, which include the popular Government-backed equity loan scheme ‘Help to Buy’ which enables first-time buyers and those looking to move up the ladder to purchase a new home with just a 5% deposit.

The launch event is RSVP only. To book an appointment at the public launch event, email or call 01302 898571. From Saturday 6 June, The Residence sales office will be open 7 days a week from 10 - 5pm.
