People living on Valley Road and The Croft, raised money at their celebration event for a Mexborough based foodbank and for flood relief effort through social distancing bingo, raffles, football cards and a tombola.

They have now donated £303.06 to Food Aware, which runs Mexborough Foodbank, and £78.25 to Fishlake Flood Relief, for families hit by the floods last November.

Foodbanks say they have seen extra pressure due the Covid crisis, while many Fishlake residents are still trying to make their homes habitable.
