A happy workforce is ‘key to success’, says study
A happy workforce is the most important criteria of business success for one in five small and medium sized firms in Yorkshire and Humberside, according to the latest research from Close Brothers Asset Finance.
The Close Brothers Business Barometer, a quarterly survey of UK SME owners and senior management from a range of sectors, also revealed that over a third of firms situated in Yorkshire and Humberside are looking to take on more staff over the next 12 months, with three out of four of these new hires to be taken on as permanent staff members.
