1, The Local Branton

This bar has over 50 gins on offer in their pub - many of them made in Yorkshire.

Often accompanied with live music this cosy pub is a great place to try new tipples - the Rhubarb and Raspberry Hedgerow Gin made in Pickering is fab.

2, The Gin Rooms

A gin bar located in the courtyard behind The Rum Rooms and The Mason Arms in the town centre.

3, Otto Wine Bar

Despite the name of this bar it’s not just vino that they excel at.

Their Strawberry Gin Fizz is made with strawberry puree, lemon juice, strawberry gin, sugar and soda.

4, Miller and Carter Steakhouse

Gintonica is the name of the range of gin cocktails at this restaurant.

Inspired by Spanish gin beverages- these drinks bring a twist to the classic G&T.

If you don’t fancy facing the cold January night to try a new gin then why not support local business Brittans who produce their own gins in Kirk Sandall.

Owner John Raper started the company 15 years ago and now sells three flavoured gins.

Their strawberry gin will make you feel like it’s Summer despite the chill in the air.
