Parts have been shut for three months – but this is how Doncaster market is looking now as traders try to get back to business.

All but essential shops selling items such as groceries were shut down when the coronavirus lockdown began. But our picture gallery shows how the market looks now with social distancing, one way systems, and hand sanitiser dispensers in place, and with traders finally back in their stalls.

We launched our Support Local campaign this month to give support for businesses in the borough who have been affected by lockdown.

Some shops have re-opened after a three month shutdown with the new climate of post-coronavirus lockdown shopping.

Hospitality and hairdressing businesses are set to open early in July,
