Doncasters charity shop is set to reopen with new social distancing measures in place

RSPCA Doncaster, Rotherham and District Branch are set to reopen their Rossington Charity Shop on Tuesday, June 16.

Hide AdKate Brown, Retail Development Manager, said: “The team have worked hard to put all necessary safety measures in place to ensure a safe environment for staff, volunteers and customers including social distancing, PPE and quarantining all donations prior to sale.
“The shop manager, Chrystel, is very much looking forward to welcoming back her customers and will be celebrating the reopening with a sale.”
Since lockdown began the Doncaster RSPCA branch has seen a decrease in income of 95% due to both the temporary closure of the shops and fundraising events having been cancelled.

Hide AdThe Branch's other three shops in Bawtry, Thorne and Maltby will reopen in the coming weeks.
The RSPCA rehome and rehabilitate animals – the Doncaster and Rotherham branch is one of the oldest local centres in the country.
