“We had to shut up shop and had a real problem with getting enough staff on the construction side of the business.

“Many of our lads were furloughed and decided to do odd jobs on the side which meant when we needed them back they were busy.”

Ryan himself has had to take on some of the manual labour work at his business despite not doing so for years previously.

Despite all the negatives that came with the lockdown Ryan says there have been some positives.

“We have mainly focused on health and safety and risk assessments.”

Ryan also owns his own lettings agents called Club Lettings, he says that this business has thrived throughout lockdown with the new addition of online property showings.

“The nature of the business has completely changed, we have been offering virtual tours which have really taken off,” he continued.

“With the use of social media, the business has been a big success.”

Ryan wants to urge people to think about local property developers and letting agents in the near future.

He said: “We know that a property crash is coming soon, we don’t know how bad it is going to be yet.

“We have so much faith in Doncaster as a town, that's why we invest so heavily here.

“Our business really does rely on the support of Doncaster people and it’s especially important during a pandemic.”
