Stars hail Sarah Munro ahead of Sheffield show

So says famous jazz singer, piano man and Radio 2 DJ Jamie Cullum after hearing young Sarah Munro.

And acclaimed musical star Michael Ball said: “What a gorgeous voice! I think she’s absolutely fabulous - real purity and clarity to her voice.”

The 21-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist – “whose music combines elements of folk, jazz and easy-listening with a strong emphasis on lyrics and storytelling” – performed headline sets at Cheltenham Jazz Festival and London’s Cornbury Festival last year, after completing a 24-date UK tour supporting Sheffield favourite Paul Carrack in prestigious venues, including Sheffield Arena.

And now Sarah is out on her own headline tour, performing songs from her debut album, 2016’s Say Hello To You and some new original material –and including a return to the Steel City.
