Jopsox present annual show Dazzle

Jopsox, the junior section of the Scunthorpe Musical Theatre society, present their annual show at the Plowright Theatre in Scunthorpe on July 16, 17 and 18.

‘Dazzle’ is the story of the Dazzle Bay Fun palace run by Fred Pringle (Mark Jacklin).

The Dazzlers are returning to Dazzle Bay for the summer season, Fred has brought his daughter Poppy (Grace Berridge) for the first time. The Dazzlers are all excited to meet Poppy but their reunion is soon interrupted by Murgatroyd Megaritch played by Rowan Tierney and his partners in crime, Clackett and Squeamish (Ailsa Duckworth and Emily Sowerby) who plan to take over the fun fair.

Fun and Drama follows as the baddies, aided by Sarrky (Amy Jacklin) the gypsy fortune teller, try to thwart all the plans of the Dazzlers after a tragic accident changes everything.

This show has something for everyone, whatever their age.

A spokesman said: “It is set in the fairground with all the glitter and lights,s ome humour, some sadness, and even bit of romance. The fabulous music is sure to have you singing as you leave the Theatre.”
