Festive fun at Sheffield’s Meadowhall centre with chart-topping acts

A trio of leading chart acts are preparing for some festive fun in Sheffield.

DJs Philip George and Sigala and rapper Nick Brewer are set to headline the annual charity Christmas concert at the city’s Meadowhall shopping centre.

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Christmas lights switch-on concert, which this year takes place on Wednesday, November 4, from 6pm, after the lights have been switched on.

“We urge people to buy their tickets for the concert as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as thousands of tickets have already been sold for what is set to be an incredible night of music and entertainment.”

A concert spokesman said: “Best known for his single Wish You Were Mine, which peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart, Philip hit the number one spot earlier this month with his second single Alone No More, featuring Anton Powers.

“Sigala also claimed the number one spot this year with his debut single Easy Love, which samples ABC by The Jackson 5.

“And Nick likewise entered the top 20 chart with his international hit Talk to Me earlier this year.”
