Staff accuse Doncaster insurance firm of 'cover-up' as hacking fears escalate
One Call Insurance has been hit with technical issues for the last six days, with thousands of customers unable to access documents, renew policies or speak to advisers after a huge IT crash last Thursday wiped out computer systems, emails and phone lines.
There are growing fears that details from the company’s customer database have been hacked in a huge cyber attack.

Now several members of staff working at the firm in Black Bank have come forward to say that bosses at the firm are ‘covering up’ the alleged security breach.
In its latest update this morning, a spokesman said: “Our live chat team now have access to all our systems and can support for all policy documentation requests, renewals, amendments and cancellations.
“Apologies to those of you whom up to now we haven’t been able to support.

“Our customer portal is currently unavailable, so please contact our live chat team or send us a private message for anything you need in the meantime.
As you can imagine we’re extremely busy. Our team are happy to help in anyway we can. Thanks again for your continued loyalty.”
One customer asked if the firm had been hacked, but the comment was swiftly deleted and the thread closed down to people commenting.

One, who declined to be named said: “They have been hit really badly. The database has been hacked and it is all being hushed up and covered up on how serious it actually is.
"Customers have a right to know if their details are at risk.”
Another said: “All the staff are talking about is the systems being hacked. Everything has been put at risk.”
We have made several attempts to contact One Call for comment.
