Woman's anger after hundreds of batteries dumped outside her Doncaster area home

Jess Guyevr woke this morning to discover piles of the black batteries discarded in front of her home in Belton – and is now appealing for help in tracking down the flytippers who left them.
She said: “I wasn’t happy.
“There must be 200 to 300 batteries.”
She made the discovery at about 8.40am outside her home in Carrhouse Road.

Hide AdShe added: “My dad is currently moving them into one pile so they are not scattered around.”
The Nissen produced 6v batteries are normally used for powering road safety lamps in and around the site of roadworks.
