According to reports, the racing fan did a 10p 'goliath' bet with William Hill for Saturday's racing in the UK.
The bet took in eight selections overall and mixed them together in a variety of ways, including 28 doubles and 56 trebles.

Hide AdPutting just 10p on each selection, the gambler risked just £24.70 – and walked away with a life changing sum of more than £200,000.
Only one horse failed – meaning the punter missed out on a £1.7 million win.
First up was Thegreyvtrain who won the 12.50 at Lingfield at 15-2, before Sir Ivan won at 8-1 in the 1.15 at Newbury.
Then 8-1 chance Umbrigado won at Newbury, before Flash Collonges won the 2.05 at Kelso at 6-1.

Hide AdThen it was over to Doncaster where Getaway Trump romped home at odds of 11-2.
Iron Heart won the 3.05 at Newbury at odds of 11-2 as well, before the only loser in the bet.
13-2 chance Tommy's Oscar could only manage a distant sixth in the 3.15 at Kelso.
But Small Present ran out a 10-3 winner in the 4.05 at Doncaster, earning the huge prize pot of £205,194.92.
