Hide AdKraig Kelly, head of Leisure at DCLT, said: “We are really looking forward to reopening the Ice Rink at Doncaster Dome and once again welcoming ice skaters back to the venue.
“The current restrictions mean that we can only welcome people in groups of up to six individuals or two households
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be able to welcome back our customers and offer them a brilliant experience on the ice, with freshly sharpened skates and a new timetable of session times.“While the ice rink has been closed, we’ve taken the opportunity to give the area a refreshing new look with an alpine theme and improved toilet facilities.
“We know how important exercise is for people’s well being, and we’ve taken carefully thought out measures to ensure everyone feels safe when they arrive and while skating.”The ice rink will be open throughout half term with daily sessions at 10am, 12pm, 12pm, 4pm and 6pm.

Extra cleaning and sanitation measures will be carried out in between each session.
Bookings must be made online in advance - it is recommended that customers check session times around the Bank Holiday if they wish to travel on this day as they may vary.
New measures include mandatory face masks while using the reception and waiting areas, a one way system and optional face mask wearing while skating on the ice.
