Charlie Lister, 33, from Auckley started the Crowns and Sashes magazine during lockdown.
Her passion project has grown and now she has been nominated for A National Diversity Award.
Charlie said: “It’s really exciting.
“This magazine is my baby and I love to see it growing.”

Charlie started as a one woman operation but she now has a team of five working on the magazine.
She has amassed 1,000 followers on Instagram.
They have managed to raise £900 for The Samaritans over the past three and a half months.
She said: “I did pageants from a young age and I want to shine a light on all participants and help to remove the stigma.

Charlie believes that they were nominated because they’re making the exclusive world of pageants more inclusive through their magazine.
“We’re really bringing the pageants community together,” she said.
“We feature queens and finalists from all over the world.
“But we also raise awareness about issues in the industry and try to add many voices into the conversation.”
