Only 14 players have ever won a jackpot of more than £100 million, with the current record-holder an anonymous winner of £170 million in October 2019.

Sheffield hairdresser Deana Sampson swapped her city council home for a luxury conversion in Baslow after scooping £5.4m. She had just £3.60 in her bank accounts when she matched her numbers in 1996.
