Upset Town Moor householders urged Doncaster Council to repair the holes in Victorian Crescent and Windsor Road as they grew steadily in size.
Yellow paint outlining the deep holes was applied to the road months ago, suggesting that repairs were on the way.

The problem was made worse by vehicles using Windsor Road and Victorian Crescent as a ‘rat run’ to Town Moor Avenue.
The holes have now been filled in – but residents have called for the whole street to be completely relaid.
One resident, who declined to be named, said: “It is great that they have listened and filled in the potholes, but now the whole street needs fixing to be honest.

"I think the paint was sprayed around them to highlight them to drivers, but there’s plenty of motorists who haven’t seen them in time and you could hear the bangs as the cars crashed down into them.”
