Hockey: Unbeaten Doncaster Ladies hit Kendal for six
Ellie O’Neill and Christy Martin both scored twice, while Sarah Thorpe and Charlotte Dodds also found the net.
The Town Field side scored five goals in a ten-minute second half blitz to record their sixth league win of the season.

Hide AdMartin had put Doncaster ahead following a scrappy start to the game.
The lead did not last long as Kendal converted a short corner and the sides went in level at the break.
But after the interval Doncaster seriously upped their game and stunned the visitors with five goals in quick time.
Three goals came from well-worked short corners, with O’Neill scoring two and Thorpe the other.

n Doncaster’s men failed to score in a game for the first time this season as they slumped to a disappointing 3-0 home defeat to Olton and West Warwicks in their latest EHL North Conference fixture.
In only the fourth minute some poor marking left Alex Edmonstone free and he fired past Ashley Watson from a tight angle to give Olton the lead.
This advantage was doubled on 23 minutes when Martin Webb converted a penalty stroke after the ball had been stopped illegally on the line.
