A Doncaster woman who coughed in the faces of two police officers has received a suspended prison sentence.
Cheryl Hall, aged 28, of Bankwood Crescent, New Rossington, received a suspended 20-week prison sentence after admitting two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
She was also ordered to pay the police officers £150 each in compensation.
Hall coughed and made the Covid-19 claim while officers were dealing with a stabbing incident in Hexthorpe in the early hours of Thursday.
She was sentenced by Doncaster magistrates.
