Levi Delmar aroused suspicions when he sped off after seeing a marked car at a roundabout on Norwich Road, at 11.25pm on May 19, last year, said prosecutor Andrew Smith.
"He knew that he was required to stop and took two junctions without slowing or looking after other road users," he said.

It contained 2.2 grammes of crack cocaine in 14 £20 deal bags, along with £785 in cash, Mr Smith told Sheffield Crown Court on Wednesday.
He said Delmar received three years for dealing heroin and cocaine in 2014, and had subsequent convictions for driving offences and dealing cannabis.
"Either it's his own, relatively small operation or he's street dealing for a larger operation by carrying relatively low amounts of drugs," Mr Smith said.

"He was taking positive steps and works as a gamekeeper and dog breeder."
Dr Okewale said a prison sentence would impact on Delmar's young son.
Delmar, 28, of Lonsdale Avenue, Intake, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply, possession of criminal property, and dangerous driving, last year.
Recorder Amy Mannion adjourned sentencing for a probation report.
