Child taken to hospital by ambulance after bike in collision with car in village near Doncaster

The collision involving a child cyclist and a car was reported to Humberside Police just after 4pm yesterday (May 26) at Cranidge Close, Crowle, near the border between Doncaster and Lincolnshire.
Police said the vehicle and the cyclist were said to have collided as the cyclist crossed in front of the car.

Hide AdA police spokesman said: “The cyclist was shaken up, but not seriously injured as they fell from their cycle, after the car attempted to avoid the collision but clipped the cycle. The ambulance service attended and the cyclist was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
“Local roads were affected whilst emergency services attended and enquiries were undertaken.”
Witness accounts were taken at the scene but if anyone has information not yet provided to police they are asked to call us on 101 quoting log number 326 of 26 May.
