Doncaster's coronavirus death toll rises again as 179 more fatalities are recorded in England

The death toll for Covid-19 patients recorded by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust now stands at 186 since the pandemic began.
According to NHS England there have been a total of 27,044 deaths at hospitals in England during the coronavirus outbreak – up 179 since yesterday’s figures were released, which is the highest increase since May 21.

There have been 274 deaths recorded by hospitals in Sheffield, which is the same as yesterday; 166 in Rotherham – an increase of one, and 125 in Barnsley, which is the same as yesterday.
Some lockdown measures were eased this week, meaning groups of six from different households can now meet outside as long as people remain two metres apart.
